You enter, your ticket numbers are allocated, and if one of them carries an instant win the prize is confirmed straight away. Some competitions let you reveal the result by scratching, spinning or tapping. That is for entertainment only: the outcome was fixed when your ticket was allocated and the game does not change it.

Fair by design

The winning ticket numbers are assigned at random by the platform before the competition opens for sale, and once a prize has been won it comes out of the pool.
