Pick the competition you fancy, choose how many tickets you want, and check out securely. Your ticket numbers are allocated straight away, and you'll see them on your confirmation screen, in your confirmation email, and any time in My Account.

Yes, and most players do. Every competition has a per-person ticket limit shown on its page, and once you reach it the site simply won't sell you any more for that draw.

You need to be 18 or over and a UK resident. We may ask winners to confirm their age, identity and address before a prize is handed over. It keeps every draw fair and above board.

Yes. Every competition has a free postal entry route. Send an unenclosed, handwritten postcard by first-class post to A1 Competitions, 4 The Galleria, Aberdeen, AB11 6FB, including your full name, postal address, phone number, email address and the competition you're entering.

One postcard per entry. Bundled entries count as a single entry, and incomplete or unreadable cards can't be accepted. Full details are in our terms.

They're allocated the moment your order goes through. You'll find them in your confirmation email and under My Account, so you can check them against the draw whenever you like.

Better than you might think. Your odds are your tickets measured against tickets actually sold, not the total available. If a draw closes with 2,000 tickets sold and you hold five of them, your odds are 5 in 2,000.

And because our draws go ahead whether or not a competition sells out, quieter competitions mean better odds for everyone in them.

Every winner is drawn at random using a random number generator once the competition closes. Draws are announced on our social channels, and every result is published on our Winners page.

The draw still happens. When the closing time on the competition page arrives, we draw from the entries received and the prize is still won.

We'll contact you directly using the details on your account, and your win appears on our Winners page. Keep your phone number and email up to date so we can reach you fast.

Don't panic. We hold the contact details from your account, and if we can't reach you when the draw happens we'll keep trying afterwards.

Once your win is confirmed we'll arrange delivery at a time that suits you. If you're local to us, we may even hand it over in person.

Certain ticket numbers are locked in as instant win numbers before a competition opens. If one of your tickets matches, you've won that prize on the spot, with no waiting for the main draw. Instant win results appear on our Instant Winners page.

Yes, that's our thing. Every A1 competition carries a main draw prize with instant win prizes alongside it. Each competition page spells out exactly what's up for grabs and how many instant wins are loaded in.

Every payment method we accept is shown at checkout, and all payments are processed securely. We never see or store your full card details ourselves.

Message us through the contact page using the email address registered to your account and we'll close it for you. The same goes if you'd just like a breather from playing. Tell us, and we'll sort it with no questions asked.
